  • identity

    when i went back to macau this past summer, i felt like a visitor even tho i was born in there. to my surprise, this place became completely new to me. i even had a hard time finding a place to stay. it's really sad that i cannot feel the sense of belonging anymore.

    so i thought i must have become a new yorker since i lived here for 11 years

    but i am hesitated to call myself a chinese american . . .

    . . . then what should i be?
